Matt&Michelle’s Maternity Session

It is just the biggest deal ever to me when I get to photograph my
wedding clients from engagement, to wedding, to rock the dress in
this case and then to maternity! Matt & Michelle were referred to me
back in 2012 when Michelle’s friend Danielle hired me. I actually did
the consultation with Michelle immediately after I shot Danielle’s
engagement photos so there was pressure to nail the engagement session
or I might have gotten a “consult cancelled email” ha ha! I shot Matt & Michelle’s
wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic
just over two years ago. I visit Hard Rock Cafe’s all over the world and never
ever miss one if there is one in a city I am visiting to it was a huge
big giant deal to get to photograph a wedding at one of their
hotels!! So anyway, fast forward two years and they are expecting
their first child and they travelled all the way from Fort McMurray to do
their maternity photos with me! YAY ME he he! It was forecasting rain so
we had some pretty moddy skies but lucky for us the rain held off and we
got some amazing shots! Here are some of my favorites from their session!

I think this rock is my favorite rock in the city! I just love it and how it is in the river. 
Outfit two on point! 
I think her 8 month pregnant belly is smaller then my thanksgiving dinner belly ha ha! 
LOVE IT!!! 
And the perfect pathway for photos! Busy but still perfect! 
The mom shot…smiling at the cameras! Moms loves smiling at the camera shots! 
This though…the fence, the connection…perfect! 
Another fav! I love chopping off peoples heads and focusing on the belly = )
