For the last several years I have seen these creative Halloween sessions on Pinterest. I am honestly not
a big fan of Halloween and never have been but I was always in awe of the makeup. But every year fall
came around and this is crazy time for photographers so I would say “maybe next year”. But this
past October I had a session postpone to winter so it was the perfect opportunity and date to create.
I texted one of my favorite makeup artists and one of my favorite models (and her boyfriend) and
asked them to create with me. Without hesitation they all agreed! Shanda from Bellamore Beauty is
a true artist and her attention to detail is impeccable. She teamed up with another one of her Bellamore
Beauty artists and they created these amazing makeup looks! I went location scouting to find a nice
urban location that would work perfectly and I found a few! I wanted something neutral so the
makeup was the focus. We started at the white brick building but we got kicked off the property.
Technically we were not on it, but a couple of security guards quickly had us on our way ha ha.
Luckily I was prepared with backup spots ! Huge thanks to Alicia & Marvin for freezing their
butts off and for trusting this creative process.
