Destination weddings have a special place in my heart cause my husband
and I also had a destination wedding. It wasn’t on the sandy beaches of Mexico
but there is that big of nostalgia that creeps in when I drop my camera bag,
kick off my shoes and feel the sand between my toes as I shoot the wedding.
I mean where else do I get to shoot bare foot right?!? ha ha.
Steven & Brandi got married at the Moon Palace Golf Resort & Spa in Cancun.
The Moon Palace Golf Resort & Spa is one of the nicest all inclusive
hotels that I have been too, not to mention the biggest.

Most Memorable Moment
Bride
The look on Stevens face as I walked towards him. IT was a look of pure proudness
and love as his eyes filled with tears. After out first kiss our son clapped and
laughed in excitement. The look on his face is priceless and a moment
that I will get to cherish forever as our amazing photographer was able
to capture it (she gets browny points for saying that ha ha). Also the way my
mom looked. She was absolutely breathtaking. The look on hers and my daddy’s face
made me more certain that my life decision was perfect as they watched their only child
and baby girl get married.
Groom
Watching Brandi come in the horse and carriage with her dad and our son brought
tears to my eyes. I knew then “this is it, Im going to spend the rest of my life
with the woman I love”. She made the day so much brighter with her
beautiful presence. Every moment spent by her side that day are moments
I will forever remember.
Advice to couples planning destination weddings
My advice to anyone planning a destination wedding is to not stress or panic.
Have faith that everything will be perfect. Not being in control just about
killed me. I had everyone around me stressed as well. When the day arrived
it was beyond perfect. They do this multiple times a day everyday. Everything
will work out.

This moment took place before the ceremony. The bride and groom exchanged gifts without seeing each other. So special! 
This moment after the kiss when their son reacted….priceless! It is moments like this that I live for. 
I love that right in the middle of photos Brandi got this notification and I was ready to capture it!
