Quarry Lake Elopement

I really have no words to explain just how special it is when a wedding is so intimate

that I get to be one of the witnesses. This is my second time shooting a true elopement where

the only people present are the bride and groom, the marriage officiant and myself and a second

witness that I have arranged for the couple. I squealed a little when I first heard from Ben & Kate about their

Canadian Rockies elopement.  They seems like such a super sweet couple and I get to excited

when I read that couples want to elope in Canada. It gives me such a sense of pride that this

is my home and it is so absolutely beautiful!

And their July elopement was stunning and emotional and just oh so perfect.  There was tears

shed but them and me ha ha. And the sun beamed down perfectly on them. Kate’s dress was perfect

for the surroundings and she handpicked flowers for Ben’s boutonniere which was a sweet

personal touch to his outfit.  After their ceremony we adventured around Canmore for a bit to find some

great spots to shoot at that really showed off our stunning mountains.
