How did you hear about RBP?

I actually heard about her through instagam. I follow Ashley Resch and I saw her get some

photos done through Monica and I instantly was like OMG this photography is beautiful and

I wanted to see more so I followed Monica.

Why did you book a boudoir session?

Oh wow  so that is a loaded question. I booked the session as a b-day gift to myself it was more then that.

A birthday is a good reason to celebrate but I had also had a pretty rocky 2019 and went through a huge

weight loss journey. When I saw other photos I was taken a back but how empowered these women looked,

how amazing they looked. They all looked beautiful. There is not one bad photo on Monica’s page of her

clients and to me that was kinda a good reason for it.

Do you remember what drew you to Monica’s style ?

I guess it was more so that i really loved her set up , and the studio. And the fact that

she did wet sessions as well. Also i feel all of her poses had variety for different poses for different people.

How did you feel leading up to the session?

Combination of nerves and excited but in the best way possible. I had never done anything like this

before so i didn’t really know what to expect. But I was so happy for myself to do this that I was so

happy like a kid on Christmas.

How did you feel during the session?

At first I wasn’t sure like how it was going to go , how she was going to pose me . But after the first photo

I felt totally comfortable and there was no worries and no questions. It was so awesome.

How did seeing your final images make you feel?

Oh my god! Seeing the final pictures within a week…well I was floored at how fast she got the

pictures back to me to make my final choices. And then it took me forever to believe it was me. I had never

seen myself in that light, in that sexy empowered, underlying wild girl that I know I am. It was so amazing

to see those pictures and see her capture me in a way where I had i wasn’t going to be in my comfort zone

but in fact I was stepping right into maybe the most comfortable place that I had maybe ever been in

my body and my image about myself.

 If it was a gift to yourself did you have a favorite pose, image or area of the studio?

This was a gift to me. I really liked all of my outfits but leading up to the session I was really panicked

trying to pick out outfits. I had no idea what to do and was maybe going to use the client closet.

I stopped into Victoria Secret right before heading to hair and makeup and I found the most gorgeous bodysuit.

I had no idea what it was going to look like on but I bought it and that rush of not knowing kinda added to

the excitement of the shoot. I brought so many outfits and Monica helped me finalize them as she knew what

would look cool and go best with the decor in her studio. My friends loved all my outfits and I can’t pick a fav.

My only thing is that I did two crop tops and I kinda wish I had done two bodysuits or a bra and undie set.

I will save that for next time ha ha.

What would you say to friends thinking about doing a boudoir session?

Ummmmm…I would say girl go get it! Every female needs to do it at least once in their life.

Don’t do it for anyone but yourself as it makes it that much more special! These are for you.

You will feel empowered and no one can take that away from you. Do this for you and you will look

back and the photos and feel the best you have ever felt in your life.
