How did you hear about RBP?
A coworker of mine who did a session back in 2017.
Why did you book a boudoir session?
In March of 2019, I hit my own rock bottom with my body image. I had been overweight
my entire life. I committed to a balanced nutrition program and built consistency at the gym
with cardio and weights. My life was built around food as a reward or to comfort. As part of this
process, I created little goal non-food rewards for myself when I hit certain weight loss increments. My end goal present
to myself was this boudoir session.  It was to appreciate and showcase my hard work and dedication.
Do you remember what drew you to Monica’s style ?
After watching her social media for 2 years, I had never seen a photo that I didn’t like. I loved all of
them. Her style is sexy yet elegant which is sometimes tricky to find. They’re all beautiful.
How did you feel leading up to the session?
With covid having added life stress, and closing the gyms for 3 months before my session, I was
super stressed that I wouldn’t look right for the photos after my hard work. The last 4 days
leading up to it were the worst.
How did you feel during the session?
During the session, Monica made me feel like a goddess. All the nerves and stress leading up
to the session were instantly gone when I walked in the door. I was so distracted by the posing and
keeping my left and right straight that I forgot that she had a camera most of the time.
How did seeing your final images make you feel?
There aren’t words to describe the experience of seeing the final images. I was so worried
that I was going to look like a Pillsbury croissant fighting to get out of the tube packaging
as that’s what I’ve felt like my ENTIRE life. She showcased my body in ways that I (or anyone else for that
matter) had never seen before. Even though my body has changed by 40 lbs and I’ve added muscle,
I often still see it as my old self when looking in the mirror. These photos completely changed my
perception and proved to myself that I have changed.
Did you have a favorite outfit?
I love my Calvin set
What would you say to friends thinking about doing a boudoir session?
I feel that every woman should experience this. If every woman felt like I did about their
bodies after the photos, the world would be such a different place. Social media has trained us to find the flaws,
but Monica showcases the beauty of a woman’s body.
