How did you hear about RBP?

A couple of friends and coworkers had done Boudoir sessions, either for themselves

or for a wedding gift, so I had always been intrigued to do the same. A coworker of mine had done

a session with Monica and was raving to me about her. She showed me some of her photos and I remember

immediately thinking, “ok I have to do this, and it has to be with Monica.”

Why did you book a boudoir session?

Originally just as a wedding gift! And then later realized how much of a gift it was for

MYSELF too! Although our Wedding ended up being postponed, I still did the session as booked,

and surprised my fiancé with it early. His reaction was priceless.

Do you remember what drew you to Monica’s style ?

Overall quality of the photos to this day still amazes me. The studio is absolutely

gorgeous and the poses Monica uses are just so sexy and flattering. You get a sense of how

friendly and inviting she is through social media, and that put me at ease and ultimately

is the reason why I chose my session with her.

Along with the prep guide, do you have any advice to girls shopping or prepping for boudoir?

If your session is in the summer like mine was, lather on the sunscreen and ensure you

do not get a sunburn before your session! This is in the guide, but I forgot to wear sunscreen at my

Bachelorette and ended up with a peeling hip area where my spray tan didn’t go on as evenly.

(The rest of my spray tan was flawless.. this was purely my own fault!) Also, don’t wear shorts or

short dresses and then sit on a fabric-textured car seat or you’ll end up with imprints on your bum like I did LOL.

Monica did an amazing job at editing both of these to make my skin look flawless.

How did you feel leading up to the session?

I was so nervous! I’m not normally a very sexy or confident person in my day to day life.

I rarely even wear low cut tops, let alone full lingerie in front of someone I’ve just met.

I’d been reassured by so many people that the nerves would go away as soon as I began

the session, and they were 100% right.

How did you feel during the session?

I was pretty nervous right up until I showed Monica my first outfit. She made me

feel so comfortable from the get-go, and then we got started and I feel like if you fully trust in Monica’s

skill and judgement (which you totally should!,) all you need to focus on is following her instructions.

She is so great at not only guiding you through the poses but truly making you

feel beautiful during the whole process.

How did seeing your final images make you feel?

My jaw dropped onto the floor. I thought my online album cover was a standard

photo Monica uses for everyone and then I realized IT WAS ME. I felt like a supermodel.

I wanted to show the world! I had such a hard time picking my favourites because I loved

them all. They made me feel so confident and beautiful. I can’t wait until I can do another session.

Did you have a favorite outfit or area of studio?

The black bodysuit was for sure my favourite outfit! The details are amazing and it really

accentuated my booty. I actually ordered it after Monica posted it to her Instagram story one day,

and I donated it to the client closet after my session. My favourite area of the studio was

on/near the bed poses. I just love that fur blanket!

What would you say to friends thinking about doing a boudoir session?

Absolutely DO IT! Everyone deserves this experience. Monica works with all b

ody types and is highly skilled at what she does, so there’s really no need to worry about a thing.

Pick a few outfits you feel amazing in, go get pampered, and experience what it feels like to

leave your comfort zone and feel empowered. I promise you will love and appreciate

your body so much more afterwards!
